The HEPA Tower Air Purifier

If you think that air purifiers are just any other luxury device that your family can do without, read on. The dirty air that circulates in the home can be harmful because air pollutants like dander flakes from pets and tobacco smoke can in fact cause asthmatic and allergic reactions. An ideal option is therefore to ensure cleaner indoor air that is safe for everyone. Air purifiers clean indoor air and reduce the likelihood of people getting diseases caused by bad air quality.

Studies show that pollution levels indoors is much higher then outdoors as much as 2 to 10 times. The problem is further worsened because we are always staying indoors. These kinds of air purifiers take away the odors and gas in the air. Opening your windows will let out much of the bad air and good air can come in, thereby reducing the work of your home air purifier. This means that you just don’t consider the price but also its suitability.

But one legitimate question would be: is it worth paying the money? You should as well clean the air filters, the air conditioner filters, and the duct filters every season. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as well as the American Lung Association recommends air filtration for those who suffer from allergies and asthma, but not as a solution per se. Electric home air purifiers are known to help rid the air of allergens such as dust, dust mites, pollen and animal dander. Air cleaners may be helpful in some situations and may help reducing allergy or asthma symptoms, but that air cleaning is not the one to reduce consistently the symptoms.

UV air purifiers are, however, an extremely useful addition to a more comprehensive air cleaning system. UV air purifiers are also effective in dealing with mold, and the tiny toxins that mold spores release. These purifiers are completely safe for use in your home environment. UV air purifiers are highly effective at what they do, but are unable to perform the same functions as other air cleaning systems.

As far as the experts are concerned, breathing ozone air from air purifiers is harmful to human health. In fact, Consumer Reports, the EPA, Canada and some U.S. states have issued warnings against ozone from air purifiers. Now, I’m not saying that breathing ozone air from air purifiers will kill you, but ozone is definitely not something you want to voluntarily breathe into your lungs.
