How I Became a Boiler Repair Man

As of now I am 35 years old, my life has not been to excellent over recent years. I did not have a job or cash. My story really began when I was 16; I left home at quite a young age as I have always thought that I am independent, my first job was working in a fast food chain flipping burgers for a living.

This was not precisley what I wanted to do for the rest of my life, there was no way that I could constantly stand all of the nagging and moaning that came along with customers, so I quickly moved on a got a job in a retail outlet, I did enjoy this not because I loved the job but because it was so easy. I was basically getting cash given to me without doing a thing.

After a period of time my mind eventually grew up and I started to settle down but money was always a big concern. The last straw was when the boiler in our home broke down; we had no warmth for a 7 days. I eventually decided to call the heating oil to come out and see what the problem was, I don’t think it was anything major but we got slapped with a £500 bill for half an hours work. The boiler guys were earning a fortune and I was missing out.

Maybe the boiler failing on me was the best thing that could have occurred to me as after this I went and worked as a junior trainee for a local firm. A few years on and I am now self employed and earn in a week what most people earn every month. A turn of fate brought luck to my life and it can also be the same for anyone else, a lot of people are blaming being jobless on the recession, but that's all in your mind as I used to be in exactly the same situation.
