I used to obsess over dinner parties. You see, all of my friends were practically gourmet cooks, and we constantly struggled to outdo each other. We would try to have the best food, the best appetizers, the best mixed drinks – in short, the best everything. It was amazing the amount of stress I would go through. I would always try to get the food perfect, have everything timed down to the second, and greet everyone at the door. That is before I realized how to make a better party with less effort.

You see, the key to a great party is not the food. The food must be good, of course, but it is not the most important elements. The most important element is having the correct décor. Instead of spending all of my time perfecting recipes, I began to put more work into it decorations. In short, I perfected my table centerpieces.

Not only do they add a dash of color, but they also give off a delicious fragrance to the meal. In addition, table centerpieces make the whole occasion seem more formal. Of course, although most table centerpieces involve flowers, you really have plenty of leeway to get creative. As a matter of fact, there are literally dozens of table decoration ideas. You can incorporate  tassels, wire sculptures, pictures – just about anything that you can think of  will fit into your table centerpieces. And the more elaborate you make them, the more everyone will appreciate them!

In reality, table centerpieces do not take nearly as much time as cooking gourmet food, but people do not realize this. They will think that you spent hours and hours getting every aspect of your party decorations to be perfect. And meanwhile, you will be able to sit back and laugh silently to yourself. Table centerpieces are definitely worth the effort. They have made my parties legendary. Best of all, I don’t have to worry about making the perfect meal anymore!
